Why you struggle to articulate your words (and how to fix it)
Hey Verbalizer,
Have you ever had that moment...
When your brilliant idea gets stuck somewhere between your brain and your mouth?
When the thoughts are crystal clear in your head, but come out tangled when you speak?
(If you're nodding right now, keep reading...)
Here's what most people don't understand about articulation:
It's not about having the right words. It's about having the right space.
Let me explain...
When your mind is racing with a thousand thoughts, When your heart is pounding with pressure, When your body is tense with anxiety...
There's no room for clarity to emerge.
It's like trying to pour tea into an already full cup. It just spills everywhere.
But here's the truth that changed everything for me:
Clarity doesn't come from pushing harder. It comes from creating space.
Space to breathe.
Space to think.
Space to trust yourself.
So here's what I want you to try next time:
Before you speak, take a conscious breath. (Not a dramatic yoga breath – just a quiet moment of presence)
Ask yourself:
"What's the one thing I really want them to understand?" (Not everything – just the core message)
Then speak from that centered place.
Because when you stop trying to say everything perfectly...
When you release the pressure to sound "professional enough"...
When you trust that your message matters...
That's when your natural articulation flows.
The words aren't the problem.
The pressure is.
So today, I'm giving you permission to:
Take up space
Take your time
Take a breath
Your clarity is already there. It's just waiting for you to create the space for it.
Love, Laughter & Light,
'Ronke
